It’s my own spoken word
Of things I know, think, or heard
It’s my expressions and feelings that I write
So people can relate and understand
It’s the powerful message I reveal
From the pen within my hand
It’s my feelings of love and hate
Or my feelings of happiness and rage
Or my thoughts of rights and wrongs
That shows on each page
Each page that I feel with words
And thoughts from within my mind
